Today I am blogging and baking these oatmeal pecan and chocolate cookies. The pecans are being toasted in the oven, the chocolate chips are open to snack on with a cup of tea, and the kitchenaid is at the ready.

Because today a man came to repair my washing machine. Seeing my broken frontloader up against the wall, the man-who-works-with-washing-machines-for-a-living said he had hurt his back and could not move the washing machine…. if I could be so kind. Continue Reading »

Chocolate crackle slice with caramel and sea salt sliced up in squares

When I started making this slice I initially just wanted to make a chocolate crackle slice. And then I thought – this needs caramel! So I did.

But then I thought – this needs salt! But how? Let’s add another chocolate layer and salt that! So I did.

Healthy blueberry bran pancakes

I’m going through a healthy pancake making phase at the moment – and blueberry and bran fit this description nicely.

In my world, it’s excellent motivation to get out of bed. They only take about 15-20 minutes from start to finish and I feel like I’ve started the day with something creative and yum. But regular pancakes aren’t really an ‘everyday’ food… but these totally can be.

Why can’t I find this recipe on my site under ‘s’ for strawberry in ‘sweet muffins’ on my handy recipe index? Oh, because I haven’t posted it. I’ve blogged previously about past-Aimee and future-Aimee and how annoyed I get when I haven’t posted a recipe I want.
